Attorney Daniel Miller earned a Bachelors Degree at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT in 2000. While at UCONN, Attorney Miller studied Economics, with a concentration in Business and Political Science. He received numerous honors and distinctions, including the Russell Palen Scholarship for academic excellence, as well as being named a New England Scholar.
After completing his undergraduate degree studies, he attended Western New England Law School in Springfield, Massachusetts. While in law school, Attorney Miller participated in many groups and activities. He was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the American Bar Association, and the Connecticut Bar Association. During his first two years in law school, Attorney Miller had the opportunity to intern for the Connecticut State’s Attorney’s Office in Waterbury, CT. As a certified legal intern, he gained valuable in-court and trial experience. As a third year law student, Attorney Miller was selected to take part in the Western New England College School of Law Criminal Law Clinic. Under Massachusetts law, Attorney Miller was permitted to prosecute criminal matters and take part in all daily criminal proceedings.
Over the past three years, Attorney Miller has represented a wide and extremely diverse range of clientele; ranging from small business owners to multinational corporations. In 2010, Attorney Miller became a State of Connecticut Qualified Guardian Ad Litem. This certification has allowed him to represent children in various courts throughout the state of Connecticut.
John joined The Law Offices of Daniel H. Miller in 2009. He runs the day to day operations of the office, contacting clients, Attorneys and Court officials on a daily basis. He diligently researches legal issues for clients and drafts the appropriate legal documents to be filed with court. He is currently finishing up his last year of law school at Quinnipiac University School of Law with an anticipated graduation date in December, 2011.
